Sustainable Development Co-ordinators Cymru is the forum for officers responsible for co-ordinating sustainable development and environmental strategies in the 22 local (unitary) authorities and 3 national parks in Wales.
SDCCymru has the following aims, to:
Provide a focus for the co-ordination of the work of the
officers involved in this field.
Work with other bodies in Wales to pursue sustainable
development at strategic, policy and practical levels.
Work with other bodies to promote knowledge and awareness
of sustainable development in Welsh society.
Advise the Welsh Local Government Association, Welsh Government and other bodies on sustainable development and associated matters.
